Design Requirements
- For the best results with DTF printing, we need high-quality images.
- Images should be at least 300 dpi (dots per inch). This ensures that the printed image is sharp and detailed. Images that are low resolution (less than 300 dpi) will appear blurry and pixelated when printed.
- The best file type for DTF printing is PNG. This format allows you to save the image without a background, which is essential for a clean and professional look.
- If your image has a drop shadow and/or gradients they will most likely print with a white glow / halo. To avoid this we need to convert the drop shadow or gradient into halftones. Halftones use small dots to create the illusion of gradients and shadows.
Heat Press Requirements
We recommend setting your heat press to 300 degrees. Press for 10 seconds with medium to high pressure and repress for an extra 3-5 seconds. You can peel immediately after or cold peel if more comfortable. You can also use an iron or a cricut to press your transfers.
